Lang a-Comin' is a stunning collection of traditional and contemporary Scottish harp tunes, performed by one of Central Ohio's finest Scottish harpers, Christine Fraser Ramsey. Several of the tunes in this beautiful collection are her own compositions -- and this is their debut on tape cassette and CD! Accompanied throughout by other fine Celtic musicians, the album showcases the talents of members of several bands. Many of these musicians are recording artists in their own right. Featured instruments are keyboard, guitar, fiddle, viola, uilleann pipes, Highland bagpipes, accordion, bodhran, snare drum and vocals.
Featured Musicians: Tom Boyer (keyboard, rhythm guitar, flute, backing vocals), Deborah Colon (fiddle, viola), Karl Colon (rhythm guitar), Eddie Cotter (bodhran), David Daye (uilleann pipes, concert and flat-pitch Highland bagpipes, accordion), Neal Havener (keyboard), J. David Hawkins (guitar, electric bass, backing vocals), Peg O'Callan (fiddle), John Sherman (guitar), Jim Swanson (marching snare drum).
Sound Engineer/Co-producer: Tom Boyer
